Belts and implicits

New
  • 9 new belts, one per biome, made by the tanner at the workbench; Megingjord is a belt too.
  • Implicits: belts roll +1–3 food slots, and from the Plains on +1–3 potion slots (L-Shift + V/B/N).
  • Taking a belt off locks its slots but keeps the items in them.
  • Belts have their own affix pool and no sockets; belts and trinkets form the new Jewellery group.
  • The Forest Watch Belt has its own model, worn on the character's waist.
  • Holding Alt shows an implicit's roll range, and the crafting list shows implicits as their range instead of a number.
  • Belts have their own group in the crafting menu.

New

World and exploration

Crafting

Beekeeper: honey and resins

Changed
  • The extra honey chance now also works for sap from the extractor, tar from tar pits and resin from felled trees.
  • Hive filling speed also speeds up the sap extractor.
  • "Honey and resins" in tooltips is a term: hover it to see what it covers.

Salvage and professions

Changed
  • The Smith, Tanner and Builder material-saving nodes now give a chance to recover metal, leather and wood on salvage.
  • The Smith salvage and Tanner salvage mastery options are gone: everyone can salvage.

Combat and items

Kindling Staff

New
  • A mage's first staff, before any dungeon: wood, resin and flint at the workbench. It throws a small fireball with a small blast.

Charged attack

Changed
  • Each source of a charged attack (spell cast, jump, parry and others) can charge it again only after 2 seconds.

Projectiles on weapons

Changed
  • Extra projectiles, pierce, chain and ricochet on weapons now roll at most +1; older items read as +1.

Elemental sigils

Changed
  • Elemental sigils in a weapon raise that weapon's own fire, frost, lightning or poison damage, shown in its tooltip, instead of the character's.

Sceptres

Changed
  • Sceptres scale with Strength and Intelligence, like swords and polearms, and show up in both attributes’ weapon lists.

Interface and usability

Interface

Food and potions by the health bar

New
  • Food slots with their hotkeys and, under them, the belt's potion slots - the same slots as in the inventory.
  • Only open slots show on screen; locked ones show in the equipment window under a padlock.

Statuses

Changed
  • Statuses no longer show over other windows such as the build menu, and their icons match the tree nodes that grant them.

Craft masteries for the server

New
  • A Craft tree masteries window in the world-admin settings: the host or an admin can turn single mastery options off for everyone on the server.

Settings search

New
  • A search box in the PoV settings: type a word to see only the matching settings from every page.

Equipment slots

New
  • Wisplight, Wishbone and other utility items have their own slots and work together with your belt.
  • Arrows and bolts have their own row, opened by a separate button at the bottom of the equipment window.
  • Rows you open in the equipment window stay open after closing the inventory or relogging.

Mod compatibility

Other equipment mods

Changed
  • With ExtraSlots, AzuExtendedPlayerInventory or a similar equipment mod installed, our equipment system turns itself off and that mod handles the slots. No items are lost.

Quick Stack

Changed
  • With the Quick Stack mod installed, its sort, restock and quick stack buttons sit next to the favourites star, and the Delete plate takes the place of that mod's trash can.

BetterArchery quivers

New
  • The BetterArchery leather quiver goes into the equipment quiver slot and opens three arrow slots.

Fires and fuel mods

Fixed
  • Fires and torches no longer go out at once or fail to light when used with fuel mods such as AutomaticFuel.

Fixes

Fixes

Attribute colours

Fixed
  • Path steps show the colour of the chosen attribute: Strength red, Dexterity green, Intelligence blue.

Night experience

Fixed
  • The night experience bonus follows the world clock exactly, and the night/dawn notice no longer fires at login.

Character portrait

Fixed
  • The character in the equipment window no longer gets up again every time the inventory opens.

Equipment slots

Fixed
  • Sorting and quick stacking no longer pull food, arrows, tools and worn items out of the equipment slots.
  • Picking things up with a full backpack no longer pulls items in only to say Inventory full.
  • Food, arrow and tool hotkeys work while running, jumping or holding other keys; tool labels under the hotbar are short (Alt+1).
  • Turning the equipment system off no longer hides the crafting panel.

Settings scrolling

Fixed
  • The mouse wheel in the PoV settings scrolls about two rows per notch instead of crawling.

Master's marks

Fixed
  • Master's marks in item tooltips take one row each, in their own colour, like an affix.
  • Master's bonuses on consumables (potency, duration, satiety) are beige too.

Shield charge

Fixed
  • Shield charge now uses blunt damage conversion, 'with blunt damage' bonuses and stagger build-up, like a normal blow.

Conversion into physical damage

Fixed
  • Conversion into slash, pierce and blunt damage works: Cleaving Thorns split thorns into pierce and slash, and the slash part causes bleeding; Split the Blow works too.
  • Conversion 'with attacks' (Steel Ablaze) works on swings, shots and the shield charge, but not on aftershocks, phantom strikes, blasts or thorns.
